History in short

Created during the 1950s by the Belgian entrepreneur, Mr Georges CHARLIER, Brabo started business selling sweet dispensers and gadgets. Brabo grew quickly and diversified into several areas: importing and distributing confectionery, food products (Uncle Bens rice, Suzi Wan ready-meals, Dôle tinned pineapple, etc), and professional coffee machines (Cimbali).
Following the death of its founder in 1989, the distribution group was firstly bought up by the management, and then in 1997 STARSWEETS, a company specialised in the importation and distribution of sweet products in the Benelux countries, acquired the confectionary branch, which became BRABO France.
